To raise awareness about the structure and jurisdiction of the AIFC among notaries of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the AIFC Academy of Law developed a unique legal education program “AIFC Foundations Program for Notaries” (“the Program”). The Program was successfully delivered from 15 April through 5 June 2020.
The main objective of the Program was to ensure that the notaries are familiarized with the AIFC Law to provide quality notary services to the businesses around AIFC and Participants of the AIFC.
The program consisted of three (3) modules covering the key “foundational” subjects required to gain a comprehensive understanding of the AIFC legal system and work in the AIFC jurisdiction. The program included the following modules: Foundations in AIFC Legal Framework; Foundations in AIFC Dispute Resolution; and Foundations in AIFC Financial Services Regulation.
Upon the completion of the Program, 26 notaries who passed writing assessments were granted with Certificates of Successful Completion the Program.
