Declaration on AIFC Law Conference 2021

This declaration is strategically important for the legal and business community of the AIFC as it summarises the work accomplished by the AIFC’s Legal Councils and Legal Group since the last year’s AIFC Law Conference. Besides, the distinguished Chairpersons discussed during the Astana Finance Days 2021 the next milestones, the ways to achieve them, and the main areas on which the Councils will focus in 2021-2022.

As the Declaration of the AIFC Law Conference 2021 announced the views on strengthening the legal profession and enlarging legal practice in the AIFC jurisdiction, this year’s Declaration set additional top priority areas for the near future. One of them is the further development of LegalTech, which can help legal practitioners acquire more clients, better serve current clients, and provide legal services more efficiently. The AIFC is committed to helping its participants to stay ahead of the curve and has been working on the creation of a thriving LegalTech ecosystem.

By the result of the session, held online on 2 July 2021, the Declaration was adopted by Chairpersons of the Advisory Councils.
